About Me
My Story

Get to Know Me
From a very young age, I've always had a passion for the arts. My mother being an artist, she encouraged my passion for the arts, and at the age of 11, I began pursuing musical theater. From the 5th grade on, I did just about all there was to do within the arts: theater, choir, band, writing clubs, you name it. When I finally reached sophomore year of high school, I decided I was going to pursue a career in theater. Many people dissuaded me and told be that I should pursue a more "stable" field, and eventually I swallowed my dreams and listened. I graduated high school and started attending the University of Cincinnati, majoring in business. My heart wasn't in it. It took me a couple years to accept that I needed to follow my dreams. I've always loved cinema and decided to start pursuing film. I am currently a senior at the University of Cincinnati, and I am expected to graduate in May of 2025 with a BFA in media production, a BIS in digital media collaborative, and a minor in film and media studies. I've spent the last few years working on film related projects, and am thrilled to be able to make skillful, meaningful art through the programs I'm in. I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with my gut and pursue the arts.
Working on Set
Being on set is one of my favorite parts of being in this field. I love working with other crew members and actors, putting our heads together to make the best art that we can. Specifically, I enjoy working one on one with actors to help design their overall look and come up with what feels most authentic for their character.

This was our entire crew on our last day filming Watch (more information on Film page) after a 12 hour shoot. We were all very exhausted but felt very proud of ourselves for working so hard and having it pay off.
What Being a Woman in Film Means to Me
Being a woman in this field can definitely have its challenges but finding other women to support you and hold you up has been incredibly worth it. Within my program I've found wonderful female artists who are not only incredibly talented, but also incredibly supportive and kind. Being apart of an amazing community of women has been just an added bonus to being in this program.

Outside of School
When I'm not at school, you can find me playing guitar or painting. A big passion of mine is travelling. I love to take trips to New York to visit my friends and explore the city, while also taking plenty of pictures with my film camera and making meaningful memories.
